Consistency is KEY

Branding is important because not only is it what makes a memorable impression on consumers but it allows your customers and clients to know what to expect from your company. It is a way of distinguishing yourself from the competitors and clarifying what it is you offer that makes you the better choice.

Below are a few of the brands I’ve built or that I’ve helped revamp and refresh.

Why is branded merchandise important?

  1. An extra revenue stream

  2. Brand Recognition: With people walking around town in a company branded t-shirt or carrying a bag with logo sticker on it, the general public is exposed more to branding. People are more inclined to remember the name or logo of something they saw in public, and google them later. 

  3. Customer Engagement: With people possessing branded material they have the ability to engage with the company and its audience more.

Van Nature Yoga

Netherlands Yoga Studio

Natascha owns an outdoor yoga Studio in the Netherlands. She wanted her brand to evoke the same energy that her nature yoga classes have.

Finding Balance

Balance is as imporant in design as it is in yoga. The owner wanted to incorporate a lot of elements in her Studio’s brand. I helped her narrow down her options to best reflect what a consumer would want to see.

Tones, fonts, shapes….everything combines to create not only a brand but a feeling. This brand is a wonderful example of how design can make you FEEL. I feel like going to take a deep breath of fresh air everytime I see this brand.

Hide and Seek

Though it might not be the first thing you recognize… Animals such as a snake and butterfly are hidden among the tree branches. Natascha wanted to incoperate some of her favorite animal yoga poses into her studio logo. It was an interesting challenge but I think it worked out well in the end!

Small Business

A cute and quirky thrift store that is selling items via social media. “Banana Thrift” What a cute name! The owners were young and full of energy so I created a brand that matched that!

Backstage

Riverbanks Zoo Animal Encounter Program

Program that allows Riverbanks Zoo Guests to get an inside look at animal care, meet some of your favorite animals. This Logo revamp came along when the zoo did a revamp of the tours. The tours were now more interactive and exciting so I branded this program to match that high energy!

/Nom

Safari Lodge in Namibia

The owners of /Nom reached out looking for help with branding their lodge and safari business in Namibia, Africa. Each room is overlooking a beautiful savannah and they wanted that represented in thier logo. /Nom is a type of tree that grows on thier property and Giraffes are frequent visitors… So I had no choice but to include these in their new logo.

Wine Tasting

Botanical Garden Event

An Annual wine tasting event in the SC Botanical Gardens. This is a very classy and fun event where you can enjoy live music while you wander through the tropical flowers. For this classy event I created a Classic logo that inclues a wine bottle (of course!) and one of the most famous flowers in the garden; the purple Lily!

Government Program

A Program focused on the research and health of watersheds in SC. This program is run by young and ambitious environmentalists who wanted to stand out from the rest. I wanted the brand I created for them to be just as bold as they are.

CRASH

Animal Rescue/Nonprofit

CRASH is a nonprofit helping amazing organizations around the world to protect endangered species as well as thier habitats. CRASH wanted to feature all 5 species of Rhinos in thier logo. This was a tall order but I believe that the logo stands out and is an overall success.
